This Christmas, ICA S.A. is extending its famous range of AQUALED PRO LED Aquariums to include three new sizes: 25L., 45L. and 68L. (40cm, 50cm and 60cm, respectively). Complete kits, fully equipped for instant installation, with minimum consumption LED lighting, an attractive design and very reasonable prices. Their full, upper door is folding and can easily be opened for day-to-day feeding of your fish or for the interior installation of ornaments and other decorations.

Advantages of the LED system

Our positioned Patent establishes an LED lighting system with a silicone housing that protects it from flying dust and makes it waterproof if splashed by or submerged in the water of the aquarium.There are many reasons why you should choose an aquarium with an LED lighting system, including its low consumption and its greater durability and the fact that it is a safer, more practical system than fluorescent lighting. Each of these advantages of the system are discussed below.

Low energy consumption

This device consumes 5 times less than any other lighting system in the market, such as fluorescent tubes and low-consumption lights, under the same lighting conditions.

Greater safety

It is safer because it operates at safety voltages of 12 Volts compared with the 240 Volts used to power a fluorescent system, for example.

Longer durability

The LED has a lifespan that is around 5 times longer than the fluorescent tube, which has to be replaced more frequently.

More practical

The LED system does not require additional bulky, high energy-consuming electrical parts such as the starters and capacitors used in fluorescent systems. An adaptor outside the system is sufficient.

Light distribution

LED technology and attractive design

The Eco Sirius LED lights emit a perfect, powerful light of a very high quality, although they have the advantages of a low price and low electricity consumption. With an elegant, extra-flat aluminium design, they are equipped with “Dual Light” – white LEDs and blue LEDs – and with independent switches.Their plastic hangers included adapt easily to almost any aquarium, as they are available in a wide range of sizes from 40cm to 150cm. Their hinges are also folding for easier access to the inside of the aquarium.These lights are especially recommended for Garden aquariums with fresh plants, but are also ideal for Standard and Reef marine aquariums.

How the C2400 External Filter works

The major feature of this type of filter is its excellent output (better than conventional filters). Its powerful cleaning system is based on both mechanical and biological filtering.During each filtering cycle, the water first passes through the porous sponge where the main impurities are caught. It then goes through the activated charcoal that eliminates any bad smells and gives the water shine. In a 3^rd stage, the water runs through the ceramic tubes that encourage the growth of nitrifying bacteria, which is known as biological filtration because these are responsible for eliminating ammonia. Lastly, any minor impurities are eliminated in the filter wool.

Powerful, effective and silent

All of this involves a water flow of up to 3,000 L/h and a power of 40W in the case of the filter without a sterilisation light, which means that a large aquarium, such as one holding 300L, completes 10 cycles per hour.
